Serving as a prototype manufacturing cluster for the bioeconomy, the TechWorks Manufacturing Cluster includes the following two programs:

Bio-based Commercialization Center
The Center provides flexible office and manufacturing space for new businesses looking to establish themselves in the marketplace for bioproducts and bioenergy.

Center for Integrated Technologies
Modeled on similar initiatives throughout the country, the Center provides a forum for bringing together varied expertise, skills and processes available in Iowa and the Midwest to create new products and new business for the region.
